Chamber Music

A type of classical music written for a small number of instruments to be performed in a private room or small auditorium.

Composer

A person who writes music. A musical author.

Concerto

An orchestral piece of music, usually in three movements (sections), that features one or more soloists in front of the orchestra.

Symphony

An extended piece of music, written in three or more sections called “movements.” This composition is usually written for a variety of instruments, including strings and winds.
